This policy explains how FarmHub, LLC uses cookies and similar browser storage on farmhub.ag and in the FarmHub application. It is part of our Privacy Policy.

Essential and preference storage

Our application and checkout providers may use strictly necessary cookies for sign-in, security, billing, and saved preferences. These are needed for requested features to work.

Marketing analytics

On campaign pages, fh_newsletter_offer in session storage remembers that a newsletter offer was shown, dismissed, or completed, so it is not repeated in the same browser tab. It contains no email address and ends when the tab closes. Newsletter permission is separate from your analytics and advertising choices.

The marketing site uses PostHog only after you choose “Analytics only” or “Accept all” in Cookie preferences. We do not send marketing analytics events before that choice. “Decline optional cookies” turns off optional browser analytics and advertising measurement.

We remember your analytics choice in the fh_cookie_consentcookie for 180 days. This shared cookie is authoritative; an old localStorage choice cannot override it. The cookie uses SameSite=Lax and is marked Secure on HTTPS connections. It records only whether you granted or denied marketing analytics; it is not an advertising identifier.

With analytics consent, we store campaign labels infh_campaign_session for the current browser tab so they can follow your visit to registration. This session storage ends when the tab closes and is removed when you withdraw analytics consent.

Advertising measurement

Google Ads measurement requires a separate permission, given by choosing “Accept all.” “Analytics only” does not enable it. We store this choice in the fh_ad_consent cookie for 180 days and share it across FarmHub subdomains. An earlier analytics-only acceptance does not grant advertising permission.

When enabled, Google Ads uses advertising cookies and click identifiers to connect ad visits with completed actions such as signing up. These measurements help us evaluate our campaigns. Google’s own cookie lifetimes vary by cookie; see Google’s cookie information. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, or farm records as advertising conversion data. Optional Google tags are blocked until advertising consent is granted.

In the FarmHub application

The application uses strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in (including a secure, HTTP-only session cookie), browser storage for interface preferences such as language, theme, and sidebar state, and Stripe’s own cookies during checkout and billing. Product analytics (PostHog, with automatic event capture disabled) follow the same consent choice: the fh_cookie_consent cookie is shared across farmhub.ag subdomains, so a choice made on either surface applies to both. With analytics consent, PostHog session replay is enabled for a 25% sample of identified users; inputs and marked sensitive content are masked or blocked. The application also uses Sentry for error reporting with a small sample of masked session replays to diagnose problems; text and inputs are masked and media is blocked in replays.

Your choices

Use “Cookie preferences” on the website or in the dashboard at any time to change or withdraw your permission. Declining optional cookies does not prevent sign-in or normal FarmHub use. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking essential cookies can affect sign-in or checkout.
